According to Modi, the power of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision is demonstrated by the India Mobile Congress’s quick growth and the nation’s telecom accomplishments. “IMC events aren’t exclusively for telecom or mobile anymore. This gathering has grown into Asia’s biggest digital technology forum in a matter of years.”   India, which formerly struggled with 2G connections, has now extended 5G networks to almost every district in the country, according to the prime minister. The Prime Minister recalled his August 15 declaration that 2025 would be a year of significant reforms when he stated, “We are increasing the pace of reforms.”

Modi also emphasized the recent rationalization of the GST rate, which reduced the cost of necessities like shampoos and television sets and demonstrated the government’s dedication to measures that benefit both consumers and businesses.

He pointed out that India has the fastest-growing developer community, the second-largest 5G user base, and the second-largest telecom market in the world.

Theme of the 2025 India Mobile Congress: Innovate to Transform

IMC 2025, which is being organized in collaboration by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), will take place until October 11.

The topic, “Innovate to Transform,” emphasizes how India is increasingly spearheading digital transformation and leveraging innovation to advance economic and societal advancement.

Global leaders, legislators, business executives, and innovators gathered for the four-day event to present the newest developments in telecommunications and emerging technology.

6G, quantum communications, semiconductors, optical networks, and cyber fraud prevention are among the main areas of concentration, which align with India’s goal to improve digital security and next-generation connectivity.

More than 400 businesses, almost 7,000 international delegates, and more than 1.5 lakh visitors from more than 150 countries are present at this year’s event.

In addition to listening to 800 speakers from around the globe, attendees can take part in over 100 sessions.
