30 Under 30: Top Young Hackers Making a Mark in the Industry
Global Initiative Recognizes Outstanding Young Cybersecurity Professionals
A new recognition program has been launched to identify and honor exceptional young cybersecurity professionals worldwide. The “Hackers 30 Under 30” initiative, introduced by the Centre for Police Technology, aims to celebrate 30 outstanding individuals under the age of 30 who are making significant contributions to strengthening digital security ecosystems.
Objective and Eligibility
The program seeks to recognize talented young professionals working in various fields, including ethical hacking, cybersecurity, digital forensics, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, and computer security research. Candidates will be evaluated based on their technical work, professional achievements, innovative solutions, research contributions, and impact on cybersecurity practices in government, industry, and corporate sectors.
Selection Process
The selection process will also consider social media influence, thought leadership, and contributions to the broader cybersecurity community. A jury panel, led by renowned cybersecurity expert Prof. Triveni Singh, will carefully evaluate nominations and select the final 30 candidates.
Awards and Recognition
Selected individuals will receive a Certificate of Honour in recognition of their contributions to the global cybersecurity landscape. A virtual award ceremony will also be organized, where each of the selected honorees will have the opportunity to share their work, passion, and future vision with the global cybersecurity community.
Timeline and Nominations
The final list of “Hackers 30 Under 30” will be announced on May 1, 2026. Nominations can be submitted through a dedicated online portal, and applicants with queries can contact the Centre for Police Technology directly.
This initiative aims to highlight the exceptional skills and achievements of young cybersecurity professionals and provide a platform for them to share their expertise with the global community. By recognizing and celebrating these talented individuals, the program seeks to inspire a new generation of cybersecurity leaders and contribute to the advancement of cybersecurity research and practices worldwide.
