Enterprise Identity Risk Detection and Mitigation with Flare Foretrace
Enterprise Security Bolstered by Employee-Led Identity Risk Detection and Remediation
The increasing interconnectedness of personal and corporate identities has created a new landscape of risk for organizations. The proliferation of infostealer malware and the shift to remote and hybrid work have led to a situation where nearly half of all stealer logs contain corporate account credentials.
To address this challenge, Flare has introduced Foretrace, a business-to-business-to-employee (B2B2E) solution that empowers employees to detect and fix identity risks.
Empowering Employees to Take an Active Role in Security
Foretrace leverages the same threat intelligence infrastructure used by security teams to defend their organizations, providing individuals with real-time visibility into their personal digital identity exposures. This democratization of security enables employees to take an active role in reducing their organization’s attack surface and strengthening its security culture.
According to Nick Ascoli, VP Product of Strategy at Flare, “Traditional security measures have focused on monitoring corporate credential exposures, but personal identity risks tied to employees have been a blind spot. Foretrace changes that by putting employees in the driver’s seat. When individuals can see and fix risks tied to their own identities, security becomes a personal responsibility, leading to stronger outcomes than awareness training alone.”
Powered by Extensive Identity Intelligence Infrastructure
Foretrace is powered by Flare’s extensive identity intelligence infrastructure, which includes approximately 100 million stealer logs, monitoring of over 57,000 Telegram channels, and roughly 20 billion leaked credentials. This infrastructure provides employees with real-time exposure data drawn from the same sources used by attackers to conduct account takeovers and social engineering campaigns.
The solution is delivered through a B2B2E model, allowing organizations to offer Foretrace as a security benefit to their workforce via the Flare platform. Employees access their own private identity profile, which is not visible to their employer, ensuring that the service functions as personal protection rather than workplace monitoring.
Strengthening Enterprise Security and Promoting a Culture of Security Awareness
By extending identity intelligence beyond the security operations team and directly to employees, Foretrace enables organizations to better manage risks arising from employee exposures. As the threat landscape continues to evolve, solutions like Foretrace are critical to strengthening enterprise security and promoting a culture of security awareness among employees.
