HACKFEST 2.0 by GDG Cloud New Delhi (2026)
HACKFEST 2.0 by GDG Cloud New Delhi
Are you a designer or developer hoping to create the Agentic AI of the future? HACKFEST 2.0 is the place to be if that’s the case. Become a part of an innovative community that uses state-of-the-art cloud technology to develop powerful, real-time solutions.
GDG Cloud New Delhi and Turgon are hosting HACKFEST 2.0, a multi-phase innovation sprint. It focuses on cloud-native apps and agentic AI, going beyond abstract concepts to practical, real-world applications that make use of intelligent data pipelines and automated agents.
Objective
The following are the objectives of HACKFEST:
- Agentic Innovation: To replace static programs with “Agentic AI” systems capable of managing data, policy, and business logic on their own.
- Real-Time Problem Solving: To develop solutions, such as intelligent data dictionary management and automated BRD production, that meet urgent business needs.
- Cloud Proficiency: To bridge the gap between local development and scalable cloud-standard deployment using Google Cloud and Turgon ecosystems.
- Ecosystem Building: To establish a network that can scale prototypes into startups suitable for production by putting independent developers in touch with industry mentors.
Events
The following are the events included in HACKFEST:
- Phase 1: Registration & Screening: Teams are first filtered according to profiles and initial concepts.
- Phase 2: Idea Submission: Teams lock in their precise issue statements and high-level architecture plans.
- Phase 3: The Build Sprint: A rigorous 48-hour development phase that includes technical triage and live mentoring.
- Phase 4: Final Review: Code depth and viability are assessed through multi-layered evaluation by technical mentors and industry experts.

Venue
The following are the venues included in HACKFEST:
- Primary Location: Completely Online.
- Communication Hub: Real-time coordination and technical help given through WhatsApp and Discord channels.
Time: 21st – 22nd Feb, 2026
The following are the times of HACKFEST:
- Round 1: Registration & Idea Submission
- Date: Closes February 17, 2026
- Format: Virtual (Commudle)
- Team building and choosing a “Track” (such as BRD Generation, Policy Compliance Agents, or Intelligent Data Agents) are the focus of this phase.
- Round 2: The Main Hack (The Sprint)
- Date: February 20 – February 21, 2026
- Format: 48-Hour Virtual Sprint
- Kickoff: Technical in-depth explanations of the accessible cloud technologies and APIs are given by organizers.
- The Build: Teams must transition from a design prototype to a functional codebase. For “architecture triage” in Discord, mentors from GDG and Turgon are available.
- The Submission: Required deliverables include:
- Functional Code: Stored in a public repository.
- Demo Video: A brief demonstration of the functional agent or instrument.
- Documentation: An explanation of the cloud architecture and AI reasoning in technical terms.
3. Round 3: Judging & Results
- Date: Late February 2026
- Format: Virtual Review
- Projects are assessed for their “Agentic” skills how well the AI executes autonomous tasks without continual human intervention.
Participants
The following are the participants in HACKFEST:
- Teams: 2 to 4 members.
- Eligibility: Open to students, professional developers, designers, and AI researchers.
Prize
The following are the prizes included in HACKFEST:
- Total Prize Pool: Approximately $2,550 (USD).
