At GISEC 2025, India Shines by making Strong cybersecurity connections with the UAE

When our very own Indian Consul in Dubai, B.G. Krishnan, formally opened the Indian Pavilion, the atmosphere was electrifying. It was more than simply a ribbon-cutting ceremony; it was an occasion that led to significant discussions, such as an Indo-UAE Cyber Exchange.

The main goal of this unique project is to strengthen ties between the important figures in the cybersecurity sector in the UAE and the skilled Indian experts who reside there. Everyone was keen to interact and work together, and you could sense the ambition in the air.

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a well-known individual who serves as the Vice Chairman of the Dubai Academic Health Corporation, came by the Indian Pavilion at the expo’s grand opening, which was one of the true highlights.

His sincere interest in India’s cybersecurity environment and the time he invested in learning about what we have to offer were absolutely astounding. It proved how important India is to the world stage and how much we can do to ensure the security of our digital lives.

In keeping with this spirit of collaboration, Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, the top cybersecurity official for the entire UAE government, paid a visit to the Indian Pavilion. It felt more like a clear vote of confidence than a simple courtesy call, demonstrating the increasing mutual trust and cooperation between our two countries in this crucial field.

In collaboration with CIO Klub, the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) organized the second Indo-UAE Cyber Security Exchange in Dubai outside of the main expo floor. Imagine this as a targeted gathering of the most brilliant brains in technology and security from the UAE and India.

It was a great chance to establish genuine relationships and look into possible collaborations between the businesses providing solutions, the institutions utilizing them, and individuals who are pushing the envelope.

The heated discussions centered on some of the most crucial subjects in cybersecurity today, including how to recover from intrusions, developing strong cybersecurity leadership, fortifying the relationship between India and the United Arab Emirates in this area, and collaborating on new ideas and technologies.

They also talked about the important aspects of data privacy and how our two countries might work together to overcome these obstacles.

As the Indian Consul, B.G. Krishnan‘s analytical viewpoint expertly caught the event. He noted that, in terms of cybersecurity, privacy, and the technology that supports our digital world, we are at a turning point on a global scale.

The strategic significance of this partnership was further emphasized by DSCI Director Atul Kumar. Cybersecurity is now a crucial area for collaboration as India and the UAE strengthen their relationship overall.

He clarified that a safe online infrastructure is crucial for national security, public services, and economic prosperity as both countries grow more digitally reliant.
