Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artificial intelligence (AI), electronic warfare, cognitive communications, AI-powered space surveillance, and hypersonic threat detection, tracking, and situational awareness are just a few of the areas in which the lab is intended to foster study.

It will act as a strategic platform for AI-driven advancements in cyber defense, radar signal processing, drone defense, and missile defense. Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, the deputy chief minister, urged the young people to have huge dreams and put forth endless effort to make them come true.

He also commended Uday Bhanu Das, a young Odisha entrepreneur, for taking the initiative to build a state-of-the-art institution devoted to space and defense research, innovation, and design.

Singh Deo encouraged the young people to emulate Das to fulfill the goal of an independent India in terms of defense readiness. He also extended an invitation to German automakers to establish production facilities in Odisha.

According to Krystellar Defence and Aerospace’s founder and CEO, Uday Bhanu Das, the DNN Lab will play a crucial role in facilitating the development of domestic, mission-ready AI solutions. Along with supporting important projects under “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” the lab hopes to advance a military industry that is technologically advanced, secure, and self-sufficient.

Along with research and development, the DNN Lab will provide scientists, engineers, and defense personnel with specialized workshops and advanced training programs. Moreover, the center would house joint initiatives with top DRDO labs, aerospace public sector projects, and homegrown military technology pioneers.
