The breach was first detected on June 23 when unauthorized access to specific systems was discovered. A subsequent investigation, conducted with external cybersecurity experts, confirmed that certain files were exfiltrated. However, the company has not disclosed the nature of the data compromised.

Regulatory Filing and ExfilSquad
Separately, the company noted in its regulatory filing that it became aware of public reports on July 26, 2026, regarding a distinct cybersecurity issue. This appears to relate to the extortion group ExfilSquad, which claims to have obtained 570,000 records from Analog Devices. ExfilSquad specializes in data theft and does not employ file-encrypting ransomware. Its leak site previously listed Microsoft, the cities of Atlanta and Houston, and the UK Department of Education as victims, though an analysis by SOCRadar suggested some of the group’s claims may be inflated or fabricated.
