According to Bluesky, the attack started on April 15th Pacific Time and lasted for approximately 24 hours, impacting the application’s functionality, including user feeds, notifications, threads, and search functionality.

The company stated that there was no evidence of unauthorized access to private user data but declined to comment on the identity of the attackers. A hacking group called 313 Team claimed responsibility for the attack, describing themselves as a pro-Iranian hacktivist collective, although their claim has not been independently verified.
