CEOs on AI Security and Readiness: Strategic Insights

Integration of Tools
SuperOps and Guardz are integrating PSA, RMM, MDM, and agentic SecOps into a unified platform for managed service providers. In a Q&A session, SuperOps CEO Arvind Parthiban and Guardz CEO Dor Eisner outlined how combining these tools into a single system reduces the time and context loss associated with switching between applications, lowers expenses compared to multi-vendor setups, and bridges the gap between average MSP margins of 8% and the 18% achieved by top performers.
The 25% Figure and Context Loss
The integration of PSA, RMM, MDM, and SecOps into one platform aims to resolve the inefficiencies caused by tool-switching, which reportedly consumes up to 25% of a technician’s daily workload.
Parthiban explained that the 25% figure fails to account for the broader impact of context loss. When systems like PSA, RMM, and security platforms operate in isolation, technicians face challenges in maintaining continuity. For example, resolving a ticket requires reconstructing events across multiple tools, leading to errors and delayed responses. A unified system ensures persistent context, allowing technicians to access comprehensive data without switching interfaces. This not only saves time but also improves decision-making by reducing cognitive load and minimizing missed signals.
The platform’s design also supports agentic IT, where AI systems can autonomously manage tasks such as ticket triage, security signal correlation, and remediation workflows.
Agentic IT and AI Autonomy
Parthiban noted that fragmented data across disconnected tools limits AI’s effectiveness, as it cannot establish the real-time context necessary for autonomous operations. A connected stack, he argued, is essential for advancing AI from automation to autonomy.
Cost-Effectiveness
The companies claim their offering is more cost-effective than traditional multi-vendor solutions, with savings derived from reduced integration maintenance, lower administrative overhead, and streamlined vendor management.
Parthiban advised MSPs to calculate their current expenses across PSA, RMM, MDM, and security vendors, including hidden costs like tool administration and support. By consolidating these into a single platform, MSPs can achieve a more favorable total cost comparison.
Margin Disparity
The discussion highlighted the margin disparity between average and top-performing MSPs, with the latter achieving 18% net margins.
