According to PIB Fact Check, the message is fraudulent and should not be believed.

“Attention: False Claim Circulating Online!” is what PIB Fact Check tweeted. Social media posts claim that 70% of India’s electrical infrastructure is now inoperable as a result of a Pakistani hack. This assertion is untrue.

As the tension between India and Pakistan intensifies, several media outlets and social media accounts affiliated with the Pakistani government have started spreading false and unverified information about India.

Independent experts and India’s official fact-checking institutions are swiftly identifying many of these assertions as false.

Accounts with sizable followings associated with Pakistan’s military media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), are particularly actively promoting these assertions on X.
