MP BJP Website Restored in No Time, Which Was Hacked During India-Pakistan Tensions

“Many MP BJP websites got restored that were hacked during the India-Pakistan Tension.”

A Pakistani cyberattack on Saturday compromised the official website of the Madhya Pradesh BJP unit; however, after arduous attempts by IT Department officials, the website was restored.

BJP Office Bearer

A BJP office bearer told IANS that the party’s official website was hacked by Pakistani cyber hackers. “It has now been restored,” he informed.

For data security reasons, the state unit’s website was not made available for a few more hours. The homepage said, “You have been hacked, PFA Cyber Force.”

The IT department worked tirelessly to get the website back up and running. A ‘404’ error and “BJP’s log” were previously shown on the page.

Official

An official also said that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the nitty-gritty of the cyberattack on the website.

In light of the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has also presided over a high-level meeting to examine the state’s security plans.

Chief Minister

The Chief Minister said that national security is the state’s foremost duty, and under the current circumstances, ensuring the safety of every citizen must remain the top priority.

The Chief Minister urged officials to keep residents informed and composed while directing rigorous action against the dissemination of rumors and misinformation, emphasizing the need to combat anti-national narratives.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials to improve departmental preparation after reviewing the state of disaster management, including emergency health services and fire safety.

To guarantee that strong security measures are put into place as soon as possible, he gave the officials instructions to increase departmental coordination and provide special attention to crucial civic services.

Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore, Bhopal, and Katni have all been designated as sensitive sites by security services. Gwalior is on high alert because it is home to a vital Indian Air Force facility that houses Mirage fighter jets.

Given the increased tensions between the two nations, a high warning has been issued in Gwalior and other vulnerable locations.

As part of preparations for the future, a civil defense mock drill was also held in each of the five cities on May 7.
