The initiative resulted in the removal of 121 fake hotel booking websites, 33 deceptive hotel webpages, and 19 misleading online resources aimed at exploiting pilgrims traveling to Puri. Authorities also suspended 893 mobile numbers and 793 IMEI devices connected to cybercriminal activities.

The operation focused on identifying and neutralizing online platforms engaged in financial fraud, including schemes that collected advance payments for non-existent accommodations. Investigators discovered websites and social media content designed to mislead travelers through false promotions and fabricated services. They reiterated that sensitive financial data, including OTPs, UPI PINs, and card credentials, should never be shared with third parties.
