The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) has been appointed as the exclusive registrar for the “.bank.in” domain to operationalize the plan. Under the direction of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) has approved this appointment.

To begin the registration and migration procedure, banks are encouraged to contact IDRBT at [email protected]. IDRBT will provide technical assistance and domain-standard compliance to banks during the transition.
