The officer, identified in official records, was suspended after a video reportedly containing inappropriate content began spreading through social media platforms.

Officer’s Social Media Activity

The officer maintained active social media profiles on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram, where she shared content related to fitness routines, personal life updates, and health-related advice. Her public accounts also listed her affiliation with the Uttar Pradesh Police.

Cyber Cell and Departmental Inquiry

The case has prompted a technical review to confirm the footage’s authenticity, alongside an internal investigation into potential violations of conduct regulations. The Cyber Cell has been tasked with verifying the video’s origin and examining supporting digital evidence. Officials stated the technical analysis will include forensic evaluation of the content and any associated metadata.

Departmental Investigation

A parallel departmental inquiry is assessing whether the officer breached established protocols governing online behavior for active police personnel. Police sources confirmed that the video included a QR code, which triggered internal scrutiny. No footage depicting the sub-inspector in uniform has been publicly disclosed to date.
