Pakistani Hackers Targeted Army Public Schools, and Other Indian Websites
A new incident has captured the attention of all of India. Many Indian websites have been targeted by Pakistani hackers, including ARMY, AWHO, and many others.
Pakistan is still continuing the heinous crimes after the Pahalgam attack. Now it has been making attempts to access Indian Websites since last week. As we know, Jammu and Kashmir has been feeling the terror attack that killed 26 people.
The targeted sites on Tuesday are as follows:
- Army Public School (APS) Srinagar,
- APS Ranikhet,
- The Army Welfare Housing Organisation (AWHO) database, and
- The Indian Air Force Placement Organization portal.
Under the alias “IOK Hacker,” the hackers tried to vandalize these websites. The attacks included attempts to acquire personal data, deface pages, and interfere with services by launching a denial-of-service attack against APS Srinagar.
Right in the middle of the webpages was a Pakistani flag that read “SITE HACKED,” followed by an offensive statement regarding Kashmir. In the center, a figure wearing a Guy Fawkes mask—also referred to as the Anonymous mask or the V for Vendetta mask—sits and points a finger at the observer.
“Indian Army Housing Society complete data leak… we know your home address now,” Read a different message using the same template, which included a Guy Fawkes mask, a message on Kashmir, and a Pakistani flag.
In the past few days, Pakistan has made several hacking efforts, mostly targeting independent military institutions.

India’s cybersecurity systems detected and traced the intrusions to Pakistan in real time. All affected sites were isolated, restored, and no operational or classified networks were compromised.

The website of the Army College of Nursing, an independent organization run by the Army Welfare Education Society, was compromised last week, purportedly by the Pakistani hacker collective Team Insane PK. It conveyed a thought-provoking message regarding the two-nation doctrine.
3 government websites in Rajasthan were also targeted by Pakistani hackers earlier today, who vandalized them with anti-Indian content.
The hackers, who claimed to be from the ‘Pakistan Cyber Force,’ made offensive comments about India in one of the tweets, mentioning the terror assault in Pahalgam on April 22.
India will prosecute those who killed dozens of tourists in the Jammu and Kashmir region, which his government has labeled an act of terrorism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed on Sunday.
That followed India’s accusations of Pakistan’s involvement and the imposition of punitive measures, such as the suspension of an important water-sharing deal and the downgrading of diplomatic ties.
In response, Pakistan has closed its airspace to Indian-owned and Indian-operated flights, expelled Indian diplomats from Islamabad, and suspended the little trade between the two countries. Pakistan has denied any involvement in the assaults.
