RachnaKumari, a resident of Patna, was defrauded of ₹36,000 and Subham Prakash was defrauded of ₹22,000. The attackers sent Rachna a link claiming a huge discount of 20 to 40 percent on the purchase of gold. After taking all the data, money was withdrawn from the account. Similarly, Subham Prakash also could not understand the discount of fraud and became a victim of fraud. The fraudsters withdrew money from the account on the pretext of discount coupons.

Fraud in the Name of 20%  to 40% Discount Coupon

Patna resident RachnaKumari has suffered cyber fraud. The thugs messaged Rachna about a discount on her mobile. Rachna clicked on the message received on the mobile. After which a call came from number 9917079959. The caller said, to click on this link and send all the requested details. After this, you will get a discount coupon of 20 to 40 percent. Which will remain valid for 60 days. Rachna did it here and immediately after this an SMS of deduction of ₹16000 and ₹20000 came on her mobile. After which she called 1930 and informed them about cyber fraud.

Huge Discount on iPhone

At the same time, the second incident has also come to light from Patna. SubhamPrakash, living near Road No. 9 of the Rajiv Nagar police station area, was searching for a cheap iPhone for some days. Meanwhile, he also posted some of his details on a site. Subham said that on January 1 at 9 am, he got a call from 8260731185 that a huge discount was being available on iPhone 15. You are getting a 30 percent discount from our site.

For this, please enter all the details along with your name and send it. After this, you will be given a coupon. You can avail of the discount by showing that coupon in any iPhone showroom. After which, as soon as Subham Prakash filled in the details and sent, an SMS of deduction of ₹20,000 came on his mobile. After this Subham Prakash tried to contact again. But the caller’s number did not reach him and he realized that he had been cheated.
