In addition, BTC claimed that on July 24th, they received notification that they were one of the firms whose information was impacted by a worldwide security incident.

The National Student Clearinghouse, which offers more than 3,600 universities throughout the nation services for the interchange of personal and academic data, was implicated in the event.

According to BTC, they will shortly obtain a list of those who were impacted and the kinds of personal data that might have been exposed.

As soon as such students are found, they will be informed.
