Sushil Rinku, who succeeded in the Jalandhar by-election, is the only AAP MP in the Lok Sabha.

Jalandhar, Punjab: Sushil Rinku, a Lok Sabha representative from the Aam Aadmi Party, had claimed that his official Facebook profile page got hacked.

Mr. Rinku disclosed that his Facebook page had been ‘hacked’ on Monday at about 5:30 a.m. by an anti-social element.

He pleaded with everyone not to take anything on his Facebook page “seriously” if a demand is made or if a malicious element says something incorrect. He instructed everyone to notify me immediately if they became aware of any such action.

The law enforcement has received a complaint, as per the member of parliament claims, and the offenders will be apprehended shortly.

Before the by-election for the Jalandhar Parliament in 2023, Rinku switched from the Congress to the AAP. Rinku was chosen as the party’s lone Lok Sabha representative.

This is not the first time that a politician’s account has been hacked. In the previous year, in the month of September, even the PMO India, Mr. Narendra Modi’s Twitter (Now X) handle got hacked by cyber adversaries.
